- Welcome!
- to Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, an
historic community of faith in Newton, Iowa.
- St. Stephen's has been providing a spiritual home for
more than 140 years. We're a small but growing group of Christians who
learn together, support each other, and grow in our faith together.
- We gather here to worship, sing, and hear God's word.
We offer our needs and our joys to God in prayer, and
we believe God hears them. We gather here to be refreshed and renewed
and
then go out from this place as living bearers of God's love.
- We invite you to join us any time!

- In
addition,
Fr.
John is offering a short service of Morning
Prayer Rite I on Sunday
mornings at 8:00 AM -- please note, however, that Morning Prayer
is not
being offered as an alternative to
the principle service of the Holy Eucharist, but only as a devotional
supplement. An explanation for this tradition of morning prayer
before Eucharist may be
found here in our parish newsletter, the St. Stephen's Beacon.

You!' goes to the Choir and Joanne Jackson for thier musical offerings,
